The 2nd Edition of MMPRC Photography Ambassador Program

With the official signing of the second edition of the Visit Maldives Photography Ambassadors held at the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) yesterday, the Visit Maldives Photography Ambassadors Program 2018/2019 aims to create a new platform for established as well as upcoming local photographers to be recognized internationally and venture into new international tourism based domains.

The 2018/2019 Visit Maldives Photography Ambassador’s program has an inclusion of Underwater Photography, which is an important segment to the Maldives tourism industry, where the Maldives has traditionally been a dive destination.

The 6 Photography Ambassadors for 2018/2019, with their focus segments are as below:

2. Shafraz Naeem I Underwater Photography
3. Ali Mohamed I Spiritual Side of Life
4. Yoosuf Khaleel I Maldivian Side of Life
5. Zidhan Ibrahim I Thrilling Side of Life
6. Mohamed Miuvaan I Romantic Side of Life

It is the belief of MMPRC that this program can help to create more employment opportunities for local photographers and provide a platform for Maldivian photography to prosper within the Maldives tourism industry.
